Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in film and TV is best known for films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her professional career in the show business from a young age. When she turned 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several television dramas. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge on Downfall. The film won an Oscar and won critical and commercial success. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated films that feature models. Over the years Alexandra has worked in several important international and national productions. These projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she was a member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
